Vegetables and fruits float in the sea near Sha’am

Citizen fishermen spotted large quantities of vegetables and fruits inside the sea near Sha’am area in Ras Al Khaimah yesterday.EPDA attributed this to the sinking of a commercial boat. As sea currents and high waves contributed to the approach of the cargo. Dr. Saif Al-Ghais, Director General EPDA, said that fishermen spotted quantities of agricultural products in the area near Shaam, and there are some fishermen monitored sinking of a boat near Al Jazeera Al Hamra. Still it was not confirmed whether it was the same boat carrying the cargo. Overloading and high waves in the sea cause such problems for small commercial boats.
