Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Public Services Department, attended the release of emperor fingerlings into the waters of Al Qawasim Corniche. The initiative was organized by Ras Al Khaimah Environment Protection and Development Authority in collaboration with Gulf Aquaculture to mark World Environment Day.
Sheikh Ahmed said the initiative reflects Ras Al Khaimah’s continued commitment to protecting fish resources and enhancing marine stocks, in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, to preserve the environment, safeguard natural resources and ensure their sustainability for future generations.
