The Global Warming Conference recommends strengthening the legislative structure to reduce the effects of climate change
At the conclusion of the Fifth World Conference on “Global Warming: Environmental Commitment” Organized by EPDA, Dr. Saif Mohammed Al Ghais, Director General of EPDA, confirmed that the UAE, represented by the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and local authorities, is keen to create a legislative system that defines the basics and requirements of environmental conservation. Doing that will contribute to increasing the impacts of climate change to ensure efficient enforcement of legislation. This will This achieve appropriate levels of commitment that contribute to harmonization between different sectors. Also to promote the use of modern technologies, including satellite applications, to enhance the quality of scientific research aimed at studying the effects of climate change. In the conference, they encouraged current trends in carbon storage.
