Substitution of fishermen’s platform in the fish market in Ras Al Khaimah

Ras Al Khaimah Environmental Protection and Development Authority announced the replacement of the fishermen’s platform in Ras Al Khaimah Fish Market in cooperation with Saqr port, and devote the platform to download the catch of fish, from boats coming from the sea daily. This followed the break-up of the old “Fardha”, which was established about 30 years ago.Fishermen demanded to accelerate the replacement of the platform in light of its seriousness, and how it obstructing work in the strategic marine fishing sector, for the safety of fishermen and sea workers, citizens and Asians, in order to facilitate their daily work in a dynamic career. The completion of the installation of the new platform comes after the EPDA received a complaints from the local fishermen about the old one, and they were requesting to substitution it with a new one.
