The Environmental Protection and Development Authority in Ras Al Khaimah announced that it provided 98,400 services to various categories of customers, society, industrial establishments, fishermen, government and educational institutions, individuals and others classified on 68 types of services during 2019, after the completion of the process of merging services based on 23 competences of the authority according to Decree No. 2 of 2007 In addition to its competence to regulate the fishing profession according to Decree No. 11 of 2015. Its mission seeks innovation and excellence in the control and awareness methods and the preparation of legislation based on specialized research programs that contribute to the protection of the environment and natural resources.Dr. Seif Mohamed Al-Ghais, Director General of the Authority, said that the Authority continues to delight customers by providing unprecedented facilities and simplify procedures and listen to their proposals through periodic meetings and continuous meetings across the Authority’s councils, which numbered 28 during 2019.
