The Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al Khaimah has concluded a partnership and cooperation agreement with the Environmental Protection and Development Authority. The agreement included a number of items that serve the cultural and environmental sectors, which will contribute to advancing the strategic goals of both sides in particular and the goals and vision of the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in general.

Ahmed Obaid Al Tunaiji, Director-General of the Department of Antiquities and Museums in Ras Al Khaimah, said: “We are pleased with the joint cooperation between the Department and the Environment Protection and Development Authority, as this cooperation will result in enrichment in many areas, the most prominent of which is the joint cooperation in the afforestation of archaeological sites and reserves with trees and plants that are commensurate with the nature of Archaeological buildings do not affect their structures or structures in any way, and preserve our archaeological reserves from any environmental factors that may threaten their sustainability, which will contribute to creating a healthy environment for our archaeological sites.”
