Sharjah Municipality views best practices of the Environmental Protection Authority in Ras Al Khaimah

A delegation from Sharjah Municipality reviewed the efforts of the Environmental Protection and Development Authority in Ras Al-Khaimah in the environmental practices of industrial establishments in the emirate, and the best environmental practices that they implement. This came during the visit of the delegation of Sharjah Municipality, which included representatives of the Research and Studies Division, environmental auditors and a health control inspector in the Sharjah Municipality, to the authority and its meeting with a team of employees of the authority, who welcomed the visit, and praised the importance of exchanging experiences and knowledge in raising the efficiency and effectiveness of environmental work, in addition to unifying Efforts to reach achieving the environmental goals and strategic visions of the country. Dr. Saif Mohamed Al-Ghais, Director General of the Environmental Protection and Development Authority in Ras Al-Khaimah affirmed that EPDA is keen on joining efforts and exchanging common experiences, stressing the importance of exchanging professional knowledge and experiences, and that the authority is ready to cooperate with all the competent authorities in the country, to transfer and exchange experiences, develop work and sustain successes. During the meeting, EPDA showed the initiatives implemented in the field of automating environmental control processes, through a remote environmental control initiative, and the implementation of "Taraf", were monitored to monitor the movement of liquid transport tanks. The two sides agreed to enhance cooperation and sign a strategic partnership aimed at achieving the strategic goals and aspirations of both parties aimed at achieving the optimal use of resources and ensuring environmental sustainability. The visiting delegation undertook a field tour of the EPDA's facilities.
