EPDA has launched a comprehensive awareness campaign on the UAE's efforts to preserve the environment and ways to enhance these efforts by creating sufficient awareness among all members of society. Dr. Saif Mohammed Al Ghais, Director General of the EPDA, announced during the announcement of the environmental carnival to be organized by the Authority in February, in conjunction with the celebration of the State of Innovation Month, that the Authority will hold distinguished events this year Local development. Through sessions that will be presented for the first time on large vehicles starting from the world mast on the Qawasim Corniche to introduce the public and society to the ecosystems in the UAE, and through 10 paintings will be embodied by paintings carried by carts roaming the Corniche Qawasim.

He added: «The first panel will be concerned with the efforts of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, in the preservation of the environment and guidance that contributed significantly to the preservation and development of our environment and deal with them in a modern and modern style».
He continued: «Sheikh Zayed was the first to enact laws that protect the environment from any unfair interference, and this legacy will be embodied in a painting that tells these efforts, and include some of his words and instructions»
Al Ghais pointed out that the Authority has invited schools in the emirate and all concerned with the environment to participate in this carnival, through which the Authority wishes to consolidate the culture of conservation of the environment. Other panels will include panels for the marine, desert, mountain, agricultural, recycling, water and energy environment, education, health and industry. There are prizes to be awarded to the top three winning sessions immediately after the carnival.
