MoU between the Environmental Protection Agency and Al Yousef Motors Company

The Environment Protection and Development Authority in Ras Al Khaimah signed a memorandum of understanding with Al Yousef Motors Company aimed at enhancing joint cooperation between the two sides and organizing the process of exchanging information between them.

The memorandum was signed by the Director-General of the Environmental Protection and Development Authority, Dr. Saif Muhammad Al-Ghais, representing the first party, and for the second party, it was signed by Mr. Basil Al-Ajji, director of Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah region.

Where Dr. Saif Al Ghais stressed that the memorandum of understanding will help build distinguished cooperation relations and will support the strengthening of cooperation between the two parties and for the purpose of supporting and delighting the practitioners of the marine fishing profession in the Emirate. This policy falls under the direction of the company's management to support partners and improve services for the common benefit.

Al Ghais continued, "The memorandum of understanding comes to organize the process of exchanging information for its service to the authority's artisanal fishermen's customers, as Al Yousef Motors Company will provide technical advice and support fishermen in the emirate to use and maintain engines, in line with the authority's direction to preserve the environment in all ports of the emirate, Where the two parties carry out annual field campaigns to inspect the engines and offer them special discounts, and the authority, on its part, will invite the fishermen and notify them of any activities or activities carried out by the company of benefit to them in cooperation with the fishermen’s associations in the emirate.”
