Ras Al Khaimah Environment and Development Authority announced the organization of an environmental educational carnival next month, with the participation of Ras Al Khaimah schools students. EPDA also launched a comprehensive awareness campaign yesterday, to create environmental awareness among all segments of society. Dr. Saif Al Ghais, Executive Director EPDA, announced the launch of the environmental carnival, which coincides with the UAE Innovation Month.
Dr. Al Ghais stated that The Carnival includes distinctive events that seek to shed a broad spotlight on the UAE's efforts in the field of environmental protection and development, through 10 paintings presented for the first time on large vehicles, starting from the site «Flag pole» in the Corniche Qawasim in Ras Al Khaimah, in order to introduce the community Various segments of the state's environmental efforts.
"The rest of the paintings address the marine, desert, mountain and agricultural environment, recycling issues, water and energy, education, health and industry." Al Ghais said.
