Ras Al Khaimah Environment calls for a commitment to renew fishing licenses

The Environmental Protection and Development Authority in the Emirate of Ras, called on all practitioners of the fishing profession or hobby to commit to renewing fishing licenses, as the authority will carry out campaigns to monitor violators starting next Sunday, stressing the need for help and compliance with what is issued by the competent authorities in order to achieve the public interest.

His Excellency Dr. Saif Muhammad Al-Ghais, Director General of the Environmental Protection Authority, said that the authority will intensify maritime inspection campaigns for fishermen in order to ensure the validity of fishing licenses as the authority is always striving to provide and facilitate all procedures of its services in front of its customers by adopting the best ways and quick ways to obtain the service, since the fisherman is now He can obtain picnic hunting permits or apply for a hunting license through the electronic system and through the website of the authority, which is necessary to be with the hunter before going out to fishing trips, stressing that the authority is always striving to conserve natural resources And its sustainability and that this step comes to regulate fishing activity.

The Director General of the Environmental Protection and Development Authority stressed the importance of adhering to the existing laws and legislations, stressing that the implementation of these procedures falls under the directives of the rational government in preserving natural sources of food and contributing to achieving a safe and sustainable food sector for future generations.
