As part of a series of beach cleaning campaigns organized by EPDA in corporation with General Services Department – Waste Management – under the slogan ” Clean Our Beaches “, the Authority organized a campaign to clean the “Al marjan beach\u201d with the participation of Ras Al Khaimah Police and Ras Al Khaimah Hospital, On, 24 February 2018 has been the extraction of waste approximately 1320 kg and the participation of about 300 participants from various groups of the community volunteers and employees of the federal , local sectors and private sectors, in addition to students and university students. The campaign aims at spreading environmental awareness among the members of the community by encouraging them to follow the best environmental practices to preserve the environment and clean the beaches, in addition to raising the awareness of the community about the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of the beaches. To promote the environmental hygiene behavior among all segments of society and to promote environmental volunteerism among all groups.
