The Environment Protection and Development Authority announced yesterday that they are aiming to get participation of 50% of Ras Al Khaimah\u2019s schools in Environmental Protection Team Award in its second session, which objects to promote the UAE Vision 2021, in achieving sustainable development and the preservation of the environment and natural resources.Dr. Saif Al Ghais Director General of EPDA stated during the award launching ceremony that students who participate in this award will have more knowledge about protecting the environment and sustain natural resources. This comes as part of EPDA\u2019s strategy for environmental awareness through the educational approach. With that, we are going to transfer the environmental culture through school students to other categories in the society, and plant the environmental concept in future generations and rely on them in the renaissance of society and the sustainability of the environment.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
