In order to benefit both sides from the huge and specialized expertise in the field of environmental protection, and to spread this benefit among the sectors of society in Ras Al Khaimah and contribute to achieving these benefits at the federal level, with a view to achieving a sustainable environment.This memorandum comes in line with the recommendations of the wise leadership to enhance partnership and cooperation between the institutions and government agencies in the country and to contribute to the UAE Vision 2021. The MoU was signed by HE Dr. Thani Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment, and Dr. Saif Al Ghais, Director General of EPDA. Both sides agreed to exchange information on emissions from industrial plants and the environmental effects of economic activities. In addition to building specialized technical capacities in the areas of strategic environmental planning, exchange of information on climate change, and joint work between the parties in the field of climate change, biodiversity and environmental awareness.
