The ministry is targeting 1000 new caves in 2019, in cooperation with environmental protection agencies in the UAE.studies proved the success of the Ministerial Draft Resolution No. 501 of 2015 on the regulation of Sheri and Safi in conjunction with the breeding season. The study, which lasted for four years, is scheduled to be completed this year, and includes monitoring and follow-up of the biodiversity of caves. Indicators show the positive results and its importance in attracting many types of fish to the shores of the country, which contributed to the increase of daily fishing harvest according to surveys carried out by the Ministry with the fishermen in the country.Positive resultshe results of surveys conducted by the Ministry during the past years since the implementation of the resolution showed a significant impact in attracting Safi and Sheri and an increment in their numbers and sizes compared to the period prior to the implementation of the resolution. in six different marine sites covering the length of the sea coast of Ras Al Khaimah, which is 64 kilometers, with the aim of developing fish wealth from these caves to the bottom of the sea to be incubators for small fish and artificial habitats for marine
