Ras Al Khaimah Environmental Protection and Development Authority announced the installation of three floating observation stations in three different locations along the coastline of the Emirate, operated by solar energy to ensure access to information directly to the operating room to monitor the marine environment.
In addition, the installation of the three new stations is part of the Authority's efforts to develop its programs in the marine monitoring of the emirate's coasts in order to enhance the sustainability of the marine and coastal environment. Also, the floating stations contributes to the monitoring the marine environment, water temperatures and oxygen content, water current and etc.
