735 students participate in the project of environment protection teams in Ras Al Khaimah

Seventeen public and private schools and kindergartens in Ras Al Khaimah, represented by 735 students, participated in the Student Environment Protection Teams project, which was launched by the Environment Protection and Development Authority in Ras Al Khaimah with the aim of achieving the vision and orientations of the Government of Ras Al Khaimah in protecting the environment and sustaining natural resources. Dr. Saif Mohammed Al-Ghais, Executive Director of the Environment Protection and Development Authority, explained that the Environment Protection Teams project provides a new approach to environmental awareness through the educational approach, which depends on the transfer of environmental awareness to schools and to different groups of society through planting the environmental concept among young people as they are future leaders. Who will depend on them for the renaissance of society.
The joint project with public and private schools and kindergartens in Ras Al Khaimah is unique by encouraging students to protect and preserve the environment through wearing the uniform of EPDA - where the uniform was distributed to 438 students - and formed awareness control teams in each school and kindergarten to promote the concept of environmental protection And sustainability of natural resources.
At the same time, in support of the UAE's vision of 2021, United are united in prosperity and environmental protection. 8 schools to date, and participate in the organization of environmental awareness activities and events in the school and beyond.
