EPDA Launches Intelligent Environmental Licensing Service

HE Dr. Saif Mohammed Al Ghais, Executive Director of the Environmental Protection and Development Authority, has announced the start of the transformation of the environmental licensing process of the Authority to become a smart license instead of the current license. Dr. Al-Ghais explained at the event that the idea of the service came from the direction of the Authority to transfer its services to electronic and smart services, in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, And smart in the emirate. He added that the objectives to the launch of the new service to achieve the vision of the Authority in developing the mechanism of work, and the application of electronic facilities and solutions possible to customers in the Emirate to raise the level of transactions and raise government competencies. Dr. Al-Ghais pointed out that the new service is concerned with the final step of the procedures currently being implemented, namely the "Receiving" phase. The customer will receive a "QR" code immediately after the license by SMS or e-mail, and the concerned department, The customer will be able to keep his certificates on electronic devices (mobile phone or tablets) or through a small sticker placed on the facility concerned to facilitate the work of the inspector and the subsequent procedures of the body. Dr. Al-Ghais concluded that the implementation of the service and its circulation to be fully traded is a pioneering step in the field of securing documents and government documents as the expected results of the application of the service will benefit all government agencies and it will stimulate dealers to renew their licenses before or immediately after completion And to exclude the idea of bypassing legal proceedings by any means.
